Windows blocked the installer

SmartScreen warns on any unsigned installer. Choose More info, then Run anyway. Verify the SHA-256 first if you want certainty — the value is on every release page.

The update download seems stuck

This is almost always a double click on Install Update. Two downloads then contend on the same lock file and neither finishes. Close and reopen the app, then click Install Update exactly once.

A spreadsheet imported empty or with wrong columns

Update to the latest release first — 0.1.3-beta and 0.1.4-beta fixed several import problems including semicolon and tab separators, unusual line endings and thousands separators.

If it still fails, check that the first row contains column headers and that the file is not open in Excel at the same time.

Validate Sheet reports a variable as missing when it is there

This was a defect fixed in 0.1.7-beta: a plan variable saved under a shorter name was not matched against the sheet, so Resolve Conflicts could never be cleared. Update to 0.1.7-beta or later.

Arabic or accented text exports as question marks

Fixed in 0.1.6-beta. Word export now renders Arabic with the correct font and reading direction, and PDF export tells you when it cannot draw a script and offers Word instead of emitting question marks.
